The mini theater has been carefully preserved and maintained. The seats are also two stories high, and the red brick walls have been rebuilt and renovated.

Open Taipei
Open Taipei event visit The theater is small and fits the name of Natto It has been officially opened in 2015 and it has been 5 years this year Recently due to the epidemic, there has been much less activity The tour manager said it’s been a long time since I saw so many people in the theater Suddenly feel a little emotional Hope that the crowd will gradually come back after the epidemic Can support this inconspicuous, but century-old place Continue to survive in modern Taipei and provide opportunities for small theater companies to perform and expose~

Nadou Theatre "Natto Theater" where art, history and culture blend The Natto Theater was originally the site of the "Chou's Tea Factory", which was later purchased by Ms. Shi Jinhua as a base to support her son Lin Jingfu in establishing a puppet theater. It was registered as a historic building in Taipei in 2007. In 2012, this building began to repair the building structure and space function. The project was rigorous and exquisite. Under the professional and delicate traditional construction method, it was successfully completed in 2014; such a multi-functional puppet theater with red brick roof tiles is a historical building. A masterpiece of activation and reuse. The 75 auditoriums, the 360-degree second-floor surrounding aisle, the stepped auditorium and the complete lighting and sound equipment not only highlight the cultural and historical value of the "Natto Theater" building itself, but also because the theater is suitable for the "Taiyuan Theater" that collects tens of thousands of precious cultural relics. The Asian Puppet Show Museum coexists with the same origin and lives next to each other. Therefore, the cultural exhibition activities of the community can connect buildings, interact with people and puppets, and generate new interactive energy, imagination and innovation. Between the cycles, the Eastern and Western traditions and modern art can also continue to dialogue and collide here. "Natto Theater" is full of the vitality of art, history and culture, and will shape itself as an Asian exchange platform for puppet show talents from all over the world. This puppet theater was named "Natto" because Lin Liuxin, the patriarch of the Lin family, left his hometown alone when he was young and ventured into the East, relying on selling natto and delivering newspapers to make a living. Taiwan, Lin Jingfu, a descendant of the Lin family, commemorates his father's spirit of perseverance, innovation, and great love throughout his life. "As the chairman and artist of the Art and Culture Foundation, I believe that through the platform of Natto Theater, the family's memory will be vividly evoked, reset, implemented and promoted, and then aroused the cultural vision of the Lin family." Lin Jingfu said: "I also expect that the Natto Theater will become a cultural asset of the entire Taiwanese society in the future, so it is very worthy of being supported by those who care."

On a hot day, the sky is beautifully blue, and the Dihua Street City God Temple and Yongle Market are full of people. But at a crossing, a red brick cottage is neatly located in a business district with a strong commercial atmosphere. It is beautiful, beautiful and refreshing. The hut looks very vibrant, with materials on the ground and on the wall for people to understand. There is the sound of rehearsal in the room, but it does not disturb the quietness. The rehearsal people and staff come and go, which has also become a part of the scenery. With the greenery and installations, it is beautiful.

I like the ambiance. you feel.very close to the public too as it is less than 100 seats. Even though it's a small amphitheatre they have a bathroom (or two I forgot) one storage room and one changing room. it's perfect for simple and first time performance for artist. there is a good streets near too with lots of cafes and fabric stores. And at night there's the night market ,maybe at less than 10 minutes by walking.
