★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good variety of Japanese or Japanese inspired products for the kitchen, bedroom, living rooms. The price is very competitive and products are very high quality. Totally recommend it as an alternative to IKEA

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this brand, good products at low prices. Wide variety. However, in this particular store, the girl who was checking the stock shoved us aside rather rudely. Perhaps the staff should be trained more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to return an NT450 (US$14.50) seat cushion. Nitori gives you a paltry 7 days to return something. So I went to a Nitori store near my home within that restrictive time limit, though the store still took a while to reach. But after I arrived, the store refused to give me my money back, saying I had to return it to the store I bought it at.
I went to the other store, determined not to be deterred by this stingy return policy. It ended up taking half a day to return an NT450 (US$14.50) seat cushion.
Not that it is better at most other stores in Taiwan, some of which don't even give 7 days. On the other hand, Costco in Taiwan is very popular, in part because of its more reasonable return policy.
But merchants like Nitori don't seem to get it and continue to offer poor service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This post is about the return policy. Waiting on the customer area for long time. There are only few people, but they seems to not know what’s going on. It’s finally on my turn, they informed me that I can’t return the stuff I bought from other ikea locations. Lots of frustration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice medium sized home goods store. Right next to Ikea, so if you're there anyway it's worth a visit. Lots of selection of kitchen and bath ware, curtains, towels, etc. Most necessities for the home including a modest selection of furniture, although not very modern in style. But, you are likely to find something you need.
