★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Textbook perfect ramen. Curly al dente noodles swimming in snowy white chicken and pork bone broth. The broth is fantastic; smooth, silky with a wave of umami undertones accentuated by a subtle hint of mushrooms. Roast pork is sliced rather thinner than the norm but subsequent broiling/torching evokes distinct caramelized notes. Interior decor is modern minimalist with bar stools for seats and high tables. Not really a comfortable dining environment but at least they have high chairs for toddlers. Price point is quite reasonable given the high rent neighborhood. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very normal... no depth of flavor, no sweetness, no collagen in the soup. Spring onions (dirt bitterness? Not sure how to describe it) way over powers the light soup leaving a bad taste in the mouth. Menma is there just to be there, not much flavors and too hard. For the price 200 it’s not expensive relatively to other Japanese ramen but at the same time, it’s not Japanese ramen imo. Overall it’s bowl of ramen that just doesn’t come together, I’d suggest going to other nearby ramen places to “scratch that ramen itch” to get your satisfaction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked the simplicity of this place. The ramen was nice, and relatively cheap compared to other ramen places in the area. The service was nice, even though they took quite some time to make the food. I really liked the minimalistic environment so I was not bothered by the time they spent bringing the food. Not much choices om the menu: some may think this is negative comment, but personally I love it this way, it is very consistent to their style. To be honest, most people choose the same few items on a menu regardless of the quantity of items. It's a nice place to have a meal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is great and spot on in terms of flavor. But for me I personally prefer the “tonkatsu”-heavy flavor so I would say this is not exactly for me.
The soup flavor is on the lighter side which makes it very drinkable. You can definitely tell this is very catered to the local Taiwanese people.
But again, this is just personal preference, I prefer something heavier.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good ambience, broth and presentation were great. Noodle needed more cook time but when we asked them to cook it a little longer, the response was that they cannot bring back to the stove any food touched by customers. Instead, they offered to discard the perfectly repairable food and bring a new one. Not wanting to waste food we ate it. Surely they have a small pot where they could just cook our individual portions and then wash the pot. A little discretion and flexibility would most certainly have left us with a wonderful dining experience but not today.
