今天去了(傳藝工坊)實體店面讓我們感到開心跟快樂,因為的店員的熱心跟細心還有耐心讓我們學習到不少的知識,在這個時間點(疫情?)(經濟的影響)讓人們對於購買的慾望跟信心都無法像以前一樣,直到今天去傳藝工坊之後覺得彷彿回到以前~我跟今天的店員說「謝謝妳.謝謝讓我覺得進店家買東西也能像在家一樣的放鬆」謝謝妳。

My friend (Australian) and I went to the shop to buy a set of ceramic Chinese Qilin yesterday afternoon, Monday 19 February 2018. Unfortunately when we arrived home, which was approximately 1 hour MRT travel one way from Tamsui Station, my friend realised that one box was "empty" and was very shocked to consider the entire shopping experience being a "scam". After contacting the owner of the shop, Mr Huang, I was given 2 options of either posting the remaining one to where we stay by mail or us returning to the shop to pick it up. As the postal service was currently unavailable during the Chinese New Year, the more realistic and practical option was for us to return to pick up the item due to our tight traveling schedule. After our return to the shop on Tuesday morning, 20 February 2018, the female shop assistant was very apologetic for her mistake yesterday afternoon. When my friend decided to purchase 2 additional items from the shop, the female shop assistant contacted the owner to ask if any discounts could be offered to my friend as part of the courtesy gesture for the inconvenience caused to my friend, an additional 2 hours of return trip plus the ticket cost for MRT. Surprisingly and sarcastically, the owner offered "NT$80" for all those inconvenience and trouble. This management of compensating my friend of NT$80, which was not enough to cover the return cost of MRT, is poor and unacceptable. The owner is expected to take full responsibility for any issues occurred in the shop. This shopping experience also imprinted a poor image of Taiwan from the oversea tourist's perspective. Updated review on 27 July 2018 as follows (The description of statement before this update was posted on 20 February 2018) The owner of the shop, Mr Huang, posted his response "2 months" after our initial review, which appeared to be pointless as we had left Taiwan. Also mr Huang indicated in his response that the "special delivery" was offered at the time of event, which was not true at all, as Mr Huang only offered "mailing" by Taiwan Post and we were told that it would not be delivered on time prior to our departure to return to Australia . Consequently we had no choice but returning to the shop the next day to pick up the missing item. Again sadly Mr Huang chose to post inaccurate information online to defend the poor customer service "2 months" after the event when clearly most reviewers would not even return to their review to check if the merchant actually provides some genuine response.
