In 2012, Taiwan Sugar Corporation was generously donated more than 1,300 pig-themed collections by Professor Chen Shimeng from the Department of Economics of National Taiwan University. Thanks to Professor Chen’s great love, the "Piglet Art Museum" was established at the Kaohsiung Qiaotou Sugar Factory. All kinds of piglet cultural relics that have been collected for decades are publicly displayed for the whole people to share. The museum's collection includes cultural and creative wood-carved pigs from the Tsou tribe in Alishan, Taiwan, as well as exquisite pig figurines, paintings, mugs, toys, etc., from Hawaii, Greece, and even Peru and Chile.
