★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tasting food. Local fare. Crispy pancake with egg is really good. Soy milk is very smooth - you can order hot or cold & with or without sugar. They also have fried bun. Highly recommend this place. Anti-tourist trap place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The regular run of the mill local breakfast spot. There in a weekday at about 8. There was place for seating and service was prompt. Expect no English menus or English speaking staff. Quality was decent and prices were fair. We were obvious foreigners but there was no attempt to make our ordering easier nor was there any attempt to make a quick buck off us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walk passed by here in one morning, and saw a long queue, so decided to try it out. The 烧饼夹猪排 and 馒头夹猪排, was really tasty, above expectation, will come back for it again. Also had the 油条，very fresh and crispy, recommended with soya milk. Took away the 冬瓜茶，a little sweet but taste nice as well. Shop is a little cramp as queueing/enter/exit sharing the same entrance, old shop with old recipe food, but overall experience was good, will definitely come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good. Been there twice, staffs are friendly. I read the other reviews, honesty don't know what they are taking about. The young guy was being especially nice and welcoming. We exchanged a Hao Bung first time I came.
Edit: Came here again after a couple months. Everything is pretty much the same. Super affordable, quick breakfast. Might be noteworthy that food can be greasy. (just like most of the shops tbf) The laobunneaung can be constantly annoyed at times but it's totally harmless from my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Efficient and affordable breakfast joint with authentic, well-made Chinese breakfast foods. Be aware there's no English menu, so if you don't speak Chinese, be prepared to point a lot. The food is good though, try out the shao bing with egg (燒餅夾蛋), and the soy milk and fried dough, of course
