For more than two years, I used the weekend or Sunday morning hours to make a special trip to buy the old-fashioned oily scallion kueh set at the door. For the first time, I met Ren'an Hospital and it is worth visiting.

The old building is a hospital 97 years ago, and now it is a community building exhibition center. On the second floor, there is the study of the president of Union Hospital, which is an antique building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仁安醫院在昭和二年（1927年）開業，2003年，柯家後代將仁安醫院全棟建築物連同土地捐贈給臺北市政府。2021年4月26日，臺北市文化資產審議委員會通過將該建物指定為古蹟，後於同年8月5日正式公告。
Union Hospital opened in the second year of the Showa era (1927). In 2003, the descendants of the Ke family donated the entire building and land of Union Hospital to the Taipei City Government. On April 26, 2021, the Taipei Cultural Assets Review Committee approved the designation of the building as a historic site, and the official announcement was made on August 5 of the same year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ren An hospital is an antique Chinese-western style architecture which owned by Doctor Ko Jien Liang. You are able to take a glance at the environment only at a corner. The rest part of the building has already transformed into exhibition spaces.
According to the intro on the wall poster, there are some unique window design at the 2nd floor but it’s currently closed.
It’s a bit pity because this building should be full of historical stories and watched certain significant changes in this district of Taipei. However, the only part mentioned the background story is the poster in my photo with 2 paragraphs.
