Really a beautiful station. Nichinan Station is located in Dajia District, Taichung City, north of Daan River. It is a railway station on the coastline of the Taiwan Railway Administration. It is the first station for trains entering Taichung City from the north. There is a ticket window and a station staff is stationed. Only the shuttle bus stops. The station has a stamp of "Railway Journey - Small Station Tour Commemorative Stamp", which can be stamped by passengers as a souvenir. Nichinan Station is one of the five surviving wooden stations on the Taiwan Railway Sea Line. It adopts almost the same architectural style as Tanwen, Dashan, Xinpu and other stations (the building on the top of the mountain built by the foreign hut Heike Kirizu). Common features of the station include bulls-eye windows on the sides, windbreaker main structure, Western-style wooden eaves, and rain-paneled façades, among others. Different from the flyover method commonly used in most small stations in Taiwan, the station building and the platform of Nichinan Station are connected by a pedestrian underpass. And Nichinan Station has been listed as a historic site in Taichung City, so Nichinan Station has become one of the most popular places visited by tourists, and it has also become a material for wedding photographers to take pictures.
