★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd give this a 3 and half (between ok and liked it). Bit old could do with being refurbished, food not bad and tasted fresh, service was fast. Drink selection not great though, not many options and a bit out of the can/packet.

Had a tasty and cozy lunch with family of five on Jan. 30, 2017 there. The place was bright, neat, clean furniture, and very pleasant overall atmosphere; the waiters polite, quick and efficient. It was located very close to the Beitou Metro Station on the south side. To get to the Thermal Valley, a tourist attraction nearby, takes only a 20-minute walk from the restaurant, if one knows the way. Also, there are Bus #230 at the Beitou Metro Station that will take people conveniently up to and down from the Yangmingshan National Park in 30 minutes one way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best maintained Royal Host Restaurants in Taipei (besides the one in NanGang). The menu has always been very attractive and enticing. I always felt like to order more than I can consume. LOL! But truly, the cuisines at this restaurant chain is like a little charm that is less known to general public and tourists alike. I’d go enjoy here whenever I visited Taipei! Be aware, it is a popular hang out for the weekend Mountain hikers! ???
