★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We set high expectation after seeing the reviews online. However, the dishes we tried did not live up to our expectation. The tofu dishes were a bit too salty for our taste; the chicken in the hotpot was rather dry and hard to chew. The star of the meal is the vegetable dish. We paid TWD 590 for this meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try their iconic 石头火锅煲 steamboat, yummy ... just NT$500 for 2 persons plus add on 台湾啤酒, it's really a perfect match. Also, their services were great, we felt warm in both heart and stomach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to eat at Alishan, the place really crowded at dinner time. Can come a bit earlier before dinner time so no need to queue. Ate there 2x as the food is reasonably price. Enjoy eating the stone hot pot.

I really like the favor of all dish and of course the prise is quite affordable.
The stuff sometimes speak straight but I am sure they're all enthusiastic and kindly.
The restaurant is friendly and welcome for all visits included foreigners and residents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most popular restaurants in the area. The food is just ok - dishes are served so fast that I suspect they were cooked in advance. The waitresses can be quite pushy in asking you to order more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here for two nights. Great food, ambience and most importantly reasonably priced. The stoneware hot pot and fish dishes are their signature dishes. Their other stir fried dishes are good too. It’s a restaurant for two and above as you want to sample, if possible, all of the dishes. You need to wait between 15 to 30 minutes between 5 to 7 pm daily; expect a longer wait on weekends. BTW they played 80s and 90s music—Lionel Richie, Phil Collins, Air Supply and more in the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great cozy little restaurant in Alishan.
We had a set menu for 4 with a stone hotpot.
The food is served very fast which might mean it's just heated up or they're just churning out food nonstop. The staff seemed to be eating the same food during their break so it should be fine.
Regardless, it was tasty enough and great when the weather is cold up here.
Had no issues with the service as well.
We came a little bit past lunchtime so it wasn't too busy.
