The Jinbaoli Road, which was paved with stones in the past, was difficult for carriages and horses to pass. In 1901, the Japanese demanded for the passage of horses and the transportation of materials and equipment such as gun carts, so they created another circuitous and gentle route, which is now tourists. The Hiking Road is also called the Gun Pipeline and Shilin Jinshan Road because of its use for transporting gun barrels.

The trail is 3.5 kilometers to Qingtiangang. There are many parking spaces in the parking lot. Unfortunately, there is no internet signal. There is only one toilet tap. The water is very small.

The trail is easy to walk. You can go up to Qingtiangang and down to Bayan. Because of the sulfurous water, there are few mosquitoes and the toilets are clean. The picture shows the Lower Bayan trail.
