 Shidong Elementary School is an 80-year-old school. All facilities and administration are secluded. The place is a bilingual school because there are many foreigners.

校園特色：
1.校門頗具特色尤其是左側的幾支大型鉛筆造型，穿堂入口左右兩隻可愛的小石獅。
2.校園内美麗的3D童話校墻彩繪及特殊小水池周邊裝飾。
20180604：原來學校還隱藏了三件臺北市公共藝術作品---詩咚，西方星象圖，中國天球圖。
School history: 1940 Shilin Public School Sanjiapu Branch, 1941 Shilin East National School, 1946 Shidong National School, 1968 Shidong National Primary School.
Campus features:
1. The school gate is quite distinctive, especially the large pencils on the left, and two cute little stone lions on the left and right of the entrance.
2. Beautiful 3D fairy tale school wall painting and special small pool surrounding decorations on campus.
20180604: Originally, the school also concealed three public art works of Taipei City---Shi Dong, Western astrological map, and Chinese celestial sphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Writing purely as a vistor, not as a parent of a student. They have a really nice playground that's open during the weekends to everyone. Highlights include a 1 story tall slide and a small clambering gym section. Also has a track and a kids basketball area. Highly recommended for the options you have when you bring a kid here. Not too crowded either.
