Shimao Park - Xitun District

This park is at the entrance of Taichung Industrial Zone, but it is surrounded by residential areas and next to Taichung World Trade Center, hence the name World Trade Park. Walking in the park, there will be a kind of quietness in the midst of the hustle and bustle. There are not many sports equipment or children's game facilities in the park, so it is more suitable for walking and enjoying the shade.

The World Trade Park is close to the Taichung World Trade Exhibition Center. Although it is the entrance to the Taichung Industrial Zone, it has not yet entered the industrial zone. Therefore, most of the surrounding areas are still residential areas, so it is very quiet in this park. Although the terrain here in the World Trade Park is sloping, the site preparation plan of the park is very flat, so that elderly people can walk here without physical burden; and there is a short distance next to the trails in the park to rest. Seats, this plan is very considerate. The property of this park is more suitable for walking. The park is densely shaded, and it is still very cool even if you come here in summer. In addition to walking trails, there are also some sports equipment and health trails for people to exercise; but the children's play area is slightly insufficient. There is an activity square at the entrance of the park, which allows the public to have space for collective activities, and there is also a concrete pavilion for enjoying the shade.
