★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 經改造後，沒那麼陰森森的，後面多了個小公園，還有露天小展場，天氣好的話，連同周圍的日式舊官舍，可以來個知性之旅
 After renovation, it’s not so gloomy. There is a small park behind and a small open-air exhibition hall. If the weather is good, together with the surrounding Japanese-style old official houses, you can have an intellectual journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 整理好之後，一點也不陰，剛好聖誕節過後到訪，碑前看到不知誰放了鮮花和酒，好溫暖啊！
After finishing it, it was not cloudy at all. I just visited after Christmas. I saw someone put flowers and wine in front of the monument. It was so warm!

Tucked away next to a highway, the French Memorial Cemetery is marked by the blue, white, and red stripes along its walls. Built in memorial of the marines and soldiers who died in the French-Sino War in 1884-85, the cemetery is a reminder of the rich history Keelung is steeped in. The site has been damaged in various colonial periods of Keelung’s history and now holds war relics and unknown burials of the numerous casualties of the prior times.
