Excellent Indian food. Not cheap though. I wish the favour of spices can be stronger.

10/10 will come again for curry and naan. The flavor are well mixed, with a great variety of choice. The volume of dish is best for 3-4 persons. Yogurt drink and milk tea are rich but mild.

Hi Everyone, for a long time I was looking for a great Indian restaurant but never been really satisfied. One year ago an Indian guy who became my good friend told me “The Spice Shop” is the most authentic Indian food you can find in Taiwan. I was a bit skeptical but gave it a try. Today “The Spice Shop” become my favorite Indian restaurant too. For the past one year, I use to go there nearly every week. Never stop discovering new flavors.  The food is so fresh, the service is very good. So if you are also looking for authentic Indian food, I really recommend you “The Spice Shop”. The owner Daniel is from India and he has so much passion in his own country’s food that he doesn’t make any compromise to adjust his food to local test, as most other restaurant does. That’s probably the reason why every time I go there, I always see so much Indian customer. If you don’t know what to order, no panic! Just let Shalom help you to provide you the best recommendation. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Just do the same as me and try it. Good Job Daniel, Shalom, and your crew.

Best Indian food in Taiwan hands down. The naan is cooked to perfection and HUGE. The two dishes we got were spiced perfectly and delicious. The okra dish had super fresh okra not overcooked, and the spices used balanced perfectly. The black lentil dish was excellent. We have had a lot of Indian food in our lifetime but this was perhaps the best we have ever had. Hats off to the chefs. Staff was super professional and courteous. Thank you for a beautiful experience on my birthday!

The Spice Shop in Taipei’s posh Tianmu neighbourhood is not just one of my favourite Indian restaurants, it’s one of my favourite restaurants, period. Chef and owner Daniel Hsiung takes great pride in his food, and maintains authentic flavours even while innovating new dishes. I highly recommend this place; whether it’s for a date, a family dinner, or a gathering with friends, The Spice Shop will not disappoint.

If I say Saffron is the Indian restaurant w/ best taste in Taipei, the spice shop is no doubt the place w/ the highest cost performance and similar taste. Spice shop is always my go to in Teinmu, providing a large variety from amazing classics to vegetarian choices. Also, their soft crab stuffed w/ curry is a must try. Anyways, must come for a visit if ur a big Indian cuisine fan ;)
