S	Siqiang Yang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went on the Ropeway cause of the package tickets that we bought for NT490. The Ropeway return ticket cost NT300 and the one day boat ride cost NT300. So the package is worth it. The journey starts at ita Shao pier then a walk to the Ropeway. The Ropeway will end at the aboriginal cultural village. We didn’t go in so we head back and managed to get in a crystal cabin. It usually takes 20mins to take the crystal cabin but as most are heading to the village so I managed to get the crystal cabin on my own. No sharing! View is good too. Try to go early in the morning.
C	Cristo Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the Sun Moon Lake Cable Car Terminal in Sun Moon Lake near Ita Thao. It links with the terminal in Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village which takes about 10 mins to travel. It is a long distance for a cable car to cross two mountains. The highest altitude is more than 1,000 feets. Passengers can have a broad view of Sun Moon Lake from the higher place. The cable car runs steadily and quietly. It can take max. 8 passengers for one car.

The ropeway station is a 10 minute walk from the Ita Thao Pier - we tried a glass bottom gondola on the way up as the queue was only 5 minutes. Not worth spending extra time queuing for it though, if its a busy day. You mostly spend your time looking out of the windows rather than the bottom of the gondola. The end of the ropeway is at the Aboriginal Cultural Village - we just did a loop instead of visiting the village as online reviews mostly state that it was quite gimmicky. Entrance tickets are also quite pricey (though can also be bought together with the ropeway ticket).
C	Crystal Koh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good 5 mins ride per way over the mountain tops and overseeing the lake - beautiful views even on a misty day. There’s two types of cabins - crystal bottom or regular. Same price just that crystal bottom rides will need to wait for awhile. Not scary at all and the cable car is well maintained and very stable. You can get your own cabin for your travel group. Can buy together with Formosa cultural village amusement park. Realised my hotel (hu Yue) sells it rather cheaply. But I already bought it as a combo with boat rides.
渡	渡邉泰徳 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ropeway leads to the theme park of native Taiwanese culuture which is locate top of the mountain. The views from gondolas are amazingly beautiful and you can also notice natural aloma of trees, whistle of birds during the ride.
S	Septia Riadhotussolihah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is so pretty. But there are so many people who wants to ride the ropeway when it is holiday time. So, I suggest to come here when you have free time but not in holiday time. Because it is so good to see the scenery here. We should have at least sufficient amount of money with us because riding the ropeway will need around 300 ntd. If you want to enter the Formosa Aboriginal Cultural Park, you will need more than that. And there is also a place to buy goodies when we arrive in front of the entrance of the park.
D	D D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought we'd get out of the other side of the cable car and go on a hike, but no, it's pretty much a cable car ride to nowhere, and if you wanna get out (which is to the amusement park) you have to top up the difference. Was a little disappointed as I thought we could at least get out and walk around, but at least the ride was long and the view of the lake is still pretty. Overall, I'm not sure I recommend this if you have no intentions to go to the amusement park. Maybe, if you have time to spare, otherwise just go on one of those hikes around the lake instead.
