Taichung Veterans General Hospital - Xitun District

Parts of my complain to the hospital which I'm still awaiting reply: We just finished birth and 3 days with our newborn at your hospital. All in all an unacceptable stay! When we arrive she is told to stay in bed all the time. There is not medical reason for this as other hospitals around the world don't necessarily require this. She was given many kinds of medicine without us even being told what it is. After the birth we get a 3 people room om the 7th floor. One of the other beds is noisy all the time. The first night they turn on a/c without asking us and we have to tell them to turn it off. Second day they play loud music and watch movies with makes it impossible for our kid to sleep. At that day we ask for another room but all full. We also tell the nurses they are too noisy but they don't do anything. My wife told them to be quite on the second day which just made them louder. The last day (today), I ask them to be quite and have an argument with the husband. Their guests talk loud, they closes closets loudly, using the curtain loudly, put things down on the table loudly etc. My wife and I regret choosing your hospital for the start of our kid's life.

Worst emergency experience ever, Very unpleasant service, got in at 3.30A.M the registration clerk said i can only get treated at 4:30 A.M. the nurses are not nice at all. Ask something to them and they’ll shout to you.

Taichung Veterans General Hospital 台中榮民總醫院（簡稱：台中榮總） Being the only public medical center in middle Taiwan, Taichung Veterans General Hospital has made efforts to share the enthusiasm for life in our patients, employees and music professionals. There are abundant medical resources here.Doctors and nurses are professional and attentive.It is convenient because of parking lot,and there is License plate recognitioner which makes you pay parking fee easier.The only thing you need to do is entering your license plate number before leaving. Medical equipments keep updating,improving the experience of patient,and it brings comfortibility to them. I was impressed with its food court. There are some vegetarian restaurants,Starbucks,Mos Burger and a convenience store,which opens 24/7.there are some desserts,like a red bean cake or a scallion pie for an afternoon tea. I think it’s a comfortable place and I really appreciate to the doctors,nurses and every volunteers there.Thank you so much.

This is one of the BEST hospitals in Taichung ! Our family all enjoyed our check up in here. So far all the doctors and nurses, and even the volunteers, that we met are nice...THANK GOD for that! We trust this hospital and will be back when necessary However, the self registration kiosk is often broken, not able to connect...IT NEEDS TO IMPROVE !

Got my covid vaccine here. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Overall process was smooth and efficient.

The hospital is very clean and good services? You need to speak chinese or you need to go with your translator. Bc people there don't understand English.

My wife and I went to have our ART this morning because our home country requires us to have PDT within 48 hours. The nursing staff at the station were very helpful and professional in their job. They made sure that all our documents were correctly filed. We got our results within 30 minutes. We are greatly thankful to the staff who took the extra mile to amend our required documents.
