★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s definitely not the most spectacular botanic gardens that has ever been created but it’s a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of Taipei. There are plenty of amazing blooms on display especially in the lotus pond. I loved it because there were so many elderly Taiwanese scattered randomly around the garden, doing their exercises or taking photos. So nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for exercising or dates. Peaceful and expansive for city garden. It’s free and lots of paths to be taken. Seasonal flowers blooming year round, including lotus flowers in summer, some cherry blossoms in spring. Lots of birds and insects thriving, in the distance are traffic noises, but it’s a natural world in the midst of urban. Children will enjoy running around and satiating their curiosity. Good for picnic too. Many bathrooms and water fountains scattered throughout.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful scenic park filled with few hundred kinds of trees and plants in hearts of Taipei. Each theme section has a introduction board of the tree and plant displayed. You can found many wildlife in the lotus pond area. Lots seating available. Great to bring family and kids to spend a half day here as admission is free. Remember to bring bug repellent as there are many mosquito when night falls.
美麗古老的植物園, 有上百種樹和植物. 園區分成許多主題區有詳細的介紹. 假日全家出遊好地方, 免費門票. 一定要帶防蚊用品, 傍晚時會有很多蚊子出動.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s my first time to visit Taipei Botanical Garden, and it surprised me a lot!!! Finally I could take off my mask and take a deep breath here for few hours. Such an amazing garden if you like to have some green moment in the city. I followed those bird watchers and saw few special beautiful birds. I love the big tall trees and plants there. And there are many signs telling you what those plants are! It was cold yesterday, I would like to visit here and take a nice walk again. Recommend it to you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful botanical garden free and open to all. We went during sunset on a weekday and it was not crowded at all. There are wooden walkways and paved paths which makes strolling safe and easy. As of March, flowers are blooming and there are cute squirrels and many birds. be sure to bring mosquito repellent if you go during mosquito hunting times! Lovely place. Don't miss the South airport night market a few minutes walk from the botanical garden if you are there during night market hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A park full of little botanical exhibitions. It is a green lung in the middle of the busy city allowing you to recharge your personal "batteries". Not busy during the day, even on a weekend. Personally I found the bamboo garden most impressive.
