★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Lovely" doesn't get the atmosphere quite right. This is a place where nerds get their newfound nerdiness, if that's a thing. Don't be surprised when you see students hanging clothes on trees(to dry them), or when they flock on the walls to "get a better view", which, if you're coming here in an exchange program or a visit(Japanese schools that means you), expect this scene.
The student live here can be quite challenging if not prepared. Not academically, though, since we're all doing ok here, but studying as a CK student, learning the life here, and trying to stand out among others. It gets difficult to stand on top with grades, that's why we seek different skills, and are generally not afraid of making a scene.
And so, expect to be amazed by our behavior, and please don't freak out.

Nevertheless the buildings and equipments (and maybe sometimes teachers as well) are under extremely poor condition.
The Zi-Quang building was seriously damaged when 921 earthquake stroke.
Many coolers in this senior high, well knowned as the best high school in Taiwan, have already broken for months, and no one's gonna fix it.
One potty in the restroom on the level of my first year classroom has even been broken for years.
Also, the affairs offices are lack of efficiency.
Proud of the first-class school itself.
Sorry for the third-class equipments.
