★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a brief visit if you want to get a sense of what the Tzu Chi Foundation is doing for humanitarian work and environmentalism. There is a great store selling beautiful high quality upcycled products and clothing and accessories made of Recycled PET by an amazing social enterprise, Da Ai (big love) where the proceeds go back to the foundation. The state of the art hospital is only 12 years old and built with resiliency to withstand a major earthquake so that medical care can continue after a disaster. They also pride in helping patients that don't speak the native languages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need care for a loved one, I couldn't recommend Taipei Tzu Chi Hospital enough. We first used them when my dad was ill and they went above and beyond to make sure they found the type of help we needed. They treated us like we were family and really did all they could to help. Doctors and nurses have done a great job!! They are so friendly and my mom has been very happy with the help. They does everything they are supposed to and keeps in good contact with me. Their medical personnels are so kind to me every time an issue arises where I need help, I honestly don't know what I would have done without them. They are truly fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place. For starters, the hospital caters to wide range of medical assistance. Very organised and very clean place. It also has a vegetarian restaurant in the basement. Tons of Taiwanese style veggie foods to choose from. It is priced by your food’s weight. It also has a family mart there. Overall, it gives a nice hospital experience compare to others where stress of running back and forth from room to cashier’s office. And lastly, they have free bus service between the hospital to near presidential palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hospital provides very good facilities. The doctors are outstanding, very caring and have all the best equipment. The Buddhist organisation has lots of money and this place shows it. Wards are nice and clean, the nurses are well trained. They do need English lessons though. That is the hospital's training responsibility. The Buddhist volunteer s will come around and try and talk to you and give you peace tokens blessed by a Buddhist monk. Gets a bit much after a while. Meat products are not supposed to be in the building. Got moaned at by one of the elderly volunteers for eating chicken in the ward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been coming here for my medical needs for over a decade, including a fractured hand, various other accidents, and dental work. Both the ER and main hospital staff (admin, nurses and doctors) are incredibly compassionate and competent, and most speak fluent English. No one likes going to hospital, but if you need to I strongly recommend that it be here. It's the best healthcare I've experienced anywhere in the world.
