惟民國72年10月關渡大橋通車後，渡輪逐漸沒落，僅剩淡水、八里、漁人碼頭的渡船仍繼續營運～
來到淡水渡船頭旁散步休息，夕陽灑落河面，波光粼粼，遠方的觀音山猶如一幅巨型的山水畫……
在船上觀賞淡水河陰陽海奇觀、河岸與遠方的關渡大橋……等景色，有一種類出國渡假的氛圍。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick, ride this ferry, before the bridges put them out of business. Generatons of my family have riden it, purely for fun and to get to the other side. Yes, can be crowded, yes you might get a spash, but can be handy and fun
