Excellent service and highly recommended! While slightly more expensive than other places (around 700nt per day), we didn't mind due to the top condition of the bikes. We didn't need to leave our passport or deposit, which was great. The owner also upgraded us to a bigger bike at no extra cost as my partner who was driving is quite tall. We noticed a small scratch on the bike when returning and they were so nice, we didn't have to pay anything extra. Thanks so much! Driving around Hualien county and Taroko Gorge was the highlight of our trip!

I would highly recommend this place. The owner speaks English, but above that, is quite kind, honest, and up-front about his prices and what's included in them. In addition, he was willing to spend time explaining the nuances of driving in Taiwan for someone new to the country. My friend and I were worried about our heavy luggage, so he allowed us to leave our luggage at his place until check-in time, when he called us a cab and explained our situation to the driver. I will definitely return to this business next time I visit. Just make sure you exit the WEST entrance of the station; if you go out the east side, you have to walk ALL the way around :P

Walked up and was greeted right away (in English). I chose between two pricing structures: 650ntd/day and leave CC info so they can pay for any tickets you might get via the traffic camera system they have (parking, moving violations etc) or 800/day and they don't take CC info and take on the responsibility of your waiguo self getting a ticket. Try to rent for full 24 hour chunks because the hourly rate is 110ntd/hr. I rented at 1pm and said I'd be back two days later at 4pm. So my total was 650x2 + 330. Because it's a busy time of year he wanted to make sure I'd be back when I said I'd be back, later, and I'd pay at the hourly rate, but sooner and he'd reimburse the hourly rate! I brought the bike back at 1pm instead of 4pm and sure enough he gave me 330 back, a man of his word. As everyone else says, the bikes are brandy new. Mine started up first time every time. Included with the rental is 150km/day and 5ntd/km after that I think, but 150km/day is plenty for a normal tour of Taroko and surrounding areas. When I brought my bike back they barely even glanced at the odometer, clearly not a nickel and dime place. Will go back next time I'm in town.

Me: May I ask how much is it to rent a motorbike? Boss: “Driving licence!” Me: may I ask the price? Boss “it depends. Sign here. “ Me: may I ask the price? Boss: where are you going? Etc etc for five minutes until I left, never learning any price. Message for the wise: if you are worried that customers will drive too far, the solution is very easy. Ask for a $200 deposit. Say it will be refunded on condition you do not drive further than X km/miles. Write the current mileage on the contract. This way, you can publish your basic price and save the customers time. The customer is not here to help you. You are here to help the customer. If you don’t help the customer, somebody else will.

Nice service and the owner was helpful. Good quality of scooter. The most important thing is that they provide helmets with clean liners.
