★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An easy hiking trail with an hour only for a around trip. Suggested not to come when it closes to noon, for there is no tree along the trail.
How to come to the trail.
Get off the train at Ruifang train station, and take bus to Gold Museum. 15 minutes walk from the information center to the trail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very beautiful mountain trail, you can see mesmerizing panoramas of the ocean and mountains. but there is one moment that can ruin all outdoor recreation - it is very loud tourists. Taiwanese tour groups are very loud. therefore, I do not recommend choosing this place for outdoor recreation. And I would like to ask the administration to put signs warning tourists to be quieter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, easily walkable trail that can be easily accessed from Quan Ji Tang, which itself can be reached by taking bus 1062 from Taipei. Nice choice for a day trip, however I think the view is better from the nearby Keelung Mountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is still one of my fav hiking trails in Taipei! It was really foggy and cloudy yesterday so you can’t see the sea from up there at all. Though the low lying clouds just perfectly added a little bit of mystery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite trails in north Taiwan! This is a medium hiking trail with stunning views! Until the teapot rock-cave you can go back to the parking or you can continue through the west mountain side and finish in the Gold Museum and add 3 more hours to your hike? but it's absolutely worth! Check the weather forecast before! Don't go if rains or if is too windy. Bring enough water and snacks lunch with you and enjoy it! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite hikes for all that it packs in a few miles — both ? + ⛰ views, rugged + paved terrain, and a couple sections of rope ??♀️. Temple + gold museum stops optional. I wouldn’t say this is an easy hike, but it’s moderate for what you can see + experience. Bring enough water, snacks, sunblock/hat, + gloves for rope sections.
