Thai Heart Original Thai Food

Went there over a weekend, even tough we arrived late the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, we would like to thank Benny for all the help and suggestions. Talking about the food it was impeccable, the perfect taste ? original Thai food the spice was consistent and flavorful, the seafood was amazing and tasty and in great portion. Definitely the best Thai place in Taipei if not in Taiwan ??, definitely recommend and coming back soon for more. I suggest the curry ? it's faboulous ?

The place is very nice and the food was very tasty. We order 4 dishes, rice and two desserts and was very affordable. The owner was very kind, came and talked to us and even gave us a complementary dessert. Great service, great food!

Appreciation for the manager, laoban Benny. Very accommodating and excellent service. The food was amazing too. I had the chicken pad thai and pork jowl that has this delicious sauce! I had hen hao experience dining here.

Five stars to this awesome Thai restaurant! Revisited with family and we tried totally different orders, we were again absolutely happy with the food and the service. The food here is made with fresh ingredients and herbs, the owner came to talk to most tables to make sure everyone enjoys the dinning experience, and the staffs here provide excellent table service. The menu offers a wide range of options where you shall find the spice/flavor is fairly stronger than other Thai restaurants in town. Definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in Taipei.

I’ve been to Thai Heart twice now, once in March and once a few days ago and I plan to return many times. They recently changed their menu and have a new manager, Benny, who really went above and beyond our expectations during our latest dining experience. I have pretty unique dietary restrictions — I can’t eat gluten (soy sauce, flour, wheat, etc.) which can often be an issue in Taiwan — but Benny and his staff paid me such care and attention that I felt completely safe in their hands. Of course, the food was delicious. We ordered the galangal soup with beef and the fish steamed in lemon. The balance of flavors, from citrus to lemon grass to star anise, was exquisite. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a special night, or even just a nice dinner visit Benny and his lovely kitchen and wait staff at Thai Heart. ❤️

I loved the experience, the place is well decorated, comfortable and very spacious with two floors. The entire team is very friendly and attentive at all times. The cook was also very attentive and came out to greet us. his food is really good, I liked it a lot and I think I will come back soon, it is 100% recommended

This place earned a relatively rare four stars rating I could bestow on a restaurant. Some may consider I have fairly high standards for rating dining establishments. In truth, my standards only appear high as I take several factors into considerations. First and foremost, the food served must be above average for the price charged. Therefore, the standards are inevitably higher for restaurants marked with four dollar signs than those with fewer dollar signs. Secondly, the dining environment matters even though I usually overlook this factor when eating at road side stalls or night markets. Last but not least, I am more than willing to uprate a restaurant from three to four stars if the service I received is exceptional. Our party of three visited on a Tuesday night. The place was almost empty when we arrived around 6pm. At our departure around 8, the place was no more than half full. I have partaken in several Thai restaurants in Taipei. This is easily the best one as each dish served that evening had distinct, multi-dimensional flavor. More importantly, the seasonings were complimentary to rather than overpowering of the ingredients. The decor of the restaurant is pleasing. The table spacing is not as wide apart as I would like to see but is acceptable given the norm that I experienced in restaurants with similar price tags. The waiter that evening provided service almost on par with those working in Michelin starred restaurants. While I have no reservation about going back for a repeat visit, I cannot rate this place five stars as I do not feel compelled to visit irrespective of time and money.
