I arrived at 7 with a friend and apparently we waited an hour but it felt like 30min. The food was so good I was ecstatic and would brave the lines yet again!! I got the noodles with beef and tendon (280nt) and shared a platter of fried youtiao (40nt) which is a great sharing size for two. The NOODLES THOUGH- so flavorful and with that incredible chewy texture!! The beef broth is spicy but mildly so, very flavorful, with perfect saltiness and a deep savory flavor, and the tendon is melt in your mouth tender with pieces of thin beef. The sour dipping sauce is very complimentary, the soft boiled egg is jammy and perfect, the duck blood is Q and juicy, and I can fully understand the notorious lines. 100% coming again!! Food is served very promptly, the bathroom is clean and bright, and they only accept cash, so be prepared!~

I’ve been wanting to visit this noodle shop for long time, but it always long queue there. Today it’s my lucky day or if you wanna try, go there in an hour before the shop close. The noodles are nice with chewy texture and the tendons.. omg it’s so good! They’ve cooked it so well!! But the sliced beef was just fine. And don’t forget the Chinese donut, it’s so crunchy! Love it! If you don’t or can’t have spicy one, they server stewed beef soup. (In the photo: red-braised beef soup which is spicy one, as you see the noodles has separated with soup and you can add more soup for free.)

5/5 Overall You'll have to wait in line to get noodles at Master Spicy Noodle. The quality of the noodles are the best I've ever had! For reference, I've tried noodles in many different restaurants all over the world. Once you taste these noodles, you'll know it too. They only serve 2 types of noodles in 2 different ways, so the menu is limited to 4 different dishes. Master Spicy Noodle has several different locations throughout Taipei and you'll end up waiting at all of them because it's so delicious.

My partner and I came past 2pm on a Saturday and there was still a queue out the door. A dining experience here involves a waiting game, and you should not visit if you’re not up for it. There are three rounds of waiting: once at the door for your turn to enter, once in the restaurant whilst waiting for a table, and once more after placing your order. Be prepared to wait an average of an hour before you tuck into your meal. The menu of the restaurant features only sets and a handful of sides. Each set starts at NTD230 and consists of one noodle and one soup of your choice. My partner and I opted for the spicy beef broth (MaLa/麻辣) with master noodles (NTD230 before tax). I would consider this meal slightly costly for beef noodles in Taipei. We received our food 5-10 min after being directed to our table. Food came freshly prepared with a bowl of hot soup. The master noodles seem to be hand made and shaven. Well cooked and coated with sauce, topped with fresh and fried spring onions. Very much like 蔥油麵. My portion was on the drier side and seem to have been prepared just slightly earlier. The egg that comes with the noodle was impressive - perfectly cooked but had little flavour on its own. The broth was not as rich as I thought I’d be. The spicy flavours of 麻辣 did not fully come through and the flavours are not what I’m familiar with in regard to 麻辣. That said, the broth was still tasty and the beef slices perfectly cooked. They were generous with portioning the beef. I’m not certain if I will return, but I will recommend visiting this restaurant if you have time on hand and would like to experience beef noodles that aren’t the norm.

The noodle was so tasty. The oil and spices were blended together. The texture is just perfect. The soup it-self (I ordered 麻辣牛肉麵) was not spicy at all. I did not get the “MaLa” kick after all and more likely 紅燒牛肉麵 in general. The price is a little bit “pricey” for me. But definitely come again for the noodles! Not forget to mention, the service and hospitality was good and friendly.

Gonna keep it short and to the point: 1. Their noodle is definitely the best part of the experience. I rarely eat noddles, but I may get a second ? 2. Their slow-cooked eggs are done to perfection. 3. They are NOT stingy with their meat. I generally prefer leaner meat but it’s still quite okay. Taiwanese really like their fatty meat. ? 4. I got the spicy soup, but I think next time I’ll get the clear broth. It looks healthier. 5. Normally the queue for this place is out of control. If you don’t like to queue, don’t go. 6. The service was friendly. 7. Cash only 8. It’s different than other ramen place. It’s basically dry noodle with a side of “mala” soup. 9. If you like noodles & pastas, this place is worth checking out. 10. If you don’t eat duck blood like me, you can sub it with tofu skin. 11. I ended up ordering a second serving of the noodle. I need to ??‍♂️?tonight. ? Not so short after all, sorry ?

The spicy noodle is not that spicy, instead of having an aroma that smells sweet and tasteful. The clear broth stewed beef soup tastes good as well.

Delicious noodle, similar to the taste of ind*mie instant noodle. The thin sliced beef doesn’t exactly complement the noodle, and it doesn’t have any taste if you just eat it by itself. Unexpectedly, the duck blood is really nice.
