Qishifen Tianshengong Temple is the only temple within Tongluo that enshrines the Three Officials. The Three Officials refers to the gods in Taoism that govern the three realms of Heaven (Heaven), Dijie (Difu), and Water (Water): "Tianguan", "Diguan" and "Shuiguan", commonly known as "Sanjie Gong" in Southern Fujian, and "Sanjie Ye" in Hakka dialects, also known as "Sanyuan Great Emperor". The Sanguan Great Master controls all administrative matters between Tianfu, Difu, and Shuifu , Is a very noble deity, the god is second only to the Jade Emperor God, so folk temples are often worshipped in front of the Jade Emperor Hall, and are both respected. Southern Fujianese would set up incense burners at the entrances of temples or homes to offer sacrifices to heaven. Quanzhou people call it "Tiangong furnace" (Jade Emperor Furnace), which is believed to be used to worship the Jade Emperor God; Zhangzhou people call it the "Three Realms Furnace" because In ancient times, princes, nobles, or temples with a forehead were allowed to sacrifice to the sky, and ordinary people were not allowed to sacrifice to the sky. Even the winter solstice, Xinzheng, the birthday of the Jade Emperor, Xie Ping'an and other sacrifices to the Jade Emperor often called on the Three Realms as representatives. Today, Taiwanese are commonly known as Tiangong furnace.
Introduction editor
The correct title of Emperor Sanguan in Taoism is:
Celestial Official: Shangyuan First Grade Jiuqi blessing Celestial Official Yaoling Yuanyang Great Emperor Ziwei Emperor
Local official: Zhongyuan second grade Qiqiang pardons sins, the local official Dongling Qingxu, Qingling Emperor
Shuiguan: Xiayuan third grade and five 炁jie emperor water official Jinling Dongyin Emperor Yanggu Emperor
Abbreviated as Shangyuan first-grade Tianguan blessing Ziwei the Great, Zhongyuan second-grade local official pardons Qingxu the Great, Xiayuan third-grade water official Jie Edongyin the Great.
The most common opinion among the people is that the emperor of Tianguan is Yao, the emperor of local officials is Shun, and the emperor of Shuiguan is the three sages of Yu. "The Mirror of Immortals in Past Dynasties" says that Yuan Shitian respected Huaqi as the god of Shangyuan Tianguan, Zhongyuan Diguan, and Xiayuan Shuiguan. These three great gods went down to earth and became the three emperors of Yao, Shun, and Yu.
