★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A study in contrasts: incredibly slow kitchen (budget almost 3 hours for a mere 5 course - including dessert/no amuse Bouche) set menu), incredibly high prices for wine and food (even relative to the high quality of the cooking) and a prepayment policy where the restaurant only takes cash leads to a not fully satisfactory experience. Friendly service and good if heavily flavored Italian menu with an emphasis on seafood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Italian restaurants in Taipei! Excellent service and food! You can enjoy true Italian taste in this restaurant; perfect hand made spaghetti with truffle sauce and well-cooked filet steak! That filet was almost as perfect as the steak I had in some restaurants specializes in steak (e.g. Danny's) very satisfied from entree to dessert!

Authentic cuisine with superb taste, great service while the dining area is a bit old fashioned and could be renovated to get better experiences. It's probably also one of the most expensive Italian dining places I've tried in TPE but the quality is worth its price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consistently delivering Impeccable Italian cuisine with attentive services for so many years. Don't be fooled by the classic and slightly dated interior. The food is so refined, from presentation to the taste, from appetizer to desserts. Not pretentious and no unnecessary drama. I recommend their spicy spaghetti with shrimps, beef carpaccio, and steak.

Pasta cooked al Dante
Lobster ? cooked perfectly tender
Truffle egg noodle so good
And must try the Iberian pork!
Serving is very slow though, need to prepare for a 3 hour dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For sure it’s one of the best Italian restaurants in Taipei. Amazingly remains good after 30 years . However, would be even better if the loo can be renovated a bit . Clean but old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything here is delicious. Service is absolutely excellent. I’m very surprise how come they haven’t getting their Michelin star. The truffle pasta and lobster pasta are my favorites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a birthday celebration date, they did not disappoint us. Very nice hospitality and got a great ambience.
Pasta dishes was exceptional and beyond our expectations, however with the price that came with it we expected to be larger portions. Phenomenal lobster sauce.
We both order a dessert but since we were here to celebrate birthday, they also served the chocolate surprise, which brought a nice performance. Tasted as good as it looked! However the charge was apply to our bill.
