A brief history of Wanzhong Mengjia, on the east bank of Bin Danshui River, can be said to be the earliest developed market in Taipei. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, commerce prospered. The ancestors of southern Fujian came here to cultivate, and they traded in wine, meat and cloth with the Pingpu tribe (Kaida Gran) who drove a canoe to form a market. The canoe is pronounced "mangjia" by the Pingpu tribe "Or "Mengjia", the place name of Mengjia came from this. Ancient Mengjia has a superior geographical environment, splendid history and culture, diligent immigrants from southern Fujian, and the development of religion and education... However, due to the siltation of the Danshui River, the prosperity faded away. The Japanese rezoned the urban area and changed its name to "Wanhua ". Our school is located in Wanhua District and is the largest middle school in our community. Since the establishment of the school in 1949, we have witnessed social changes, participated in the transformation of the education system, and cultivated countless talents. The school only recruited boys in the 50s of the Republic of China. It was not until the 1980s that both boys and girls were admitted. The Wanzhong school building is old and dangerous. In the hope of parents and local people, with the full support of the city government and city council, funds are allocated for school building reconstruction. Construction of the first phase of the project started in 1988, completed in August 1991 and relocated; in December 1994, the "School Building Reconstruction Phase II Project and Parking Lot" started construction, and in August 1998, the school building reconstruction phase II project and parking lot included playground and swimming pool. All completed.
