Weiliaoshan Trail - Gaoshu Township

Weiliao Mountain can be used as a training ground for climbing Baiyue, which is very challenging (actually, I am too meaty ?). The one-way trip to Triangle Point is more than 9K, and there are many long and steep stairs along the road. If you can easily climb it, it is not difficult to climb Baiyue Mountain. (Some Baiyue Mountains are not as difficult as Weiliao Mountain) The triangle point is located at 9.3k. The 12k marked by the landmarks along the road means going down to the Shaxi Forest Road (the triangle point is 3k further down). Usually, it will turn back when you reach the triangle point. There is no outlook at the triangle point, but there are many outlook points with excellent views along the road, where you can see the entire Maolin Scenic Area. In April and May, the tung tree flower blooms, and many petals of the tung tree flower fall along the road, like a white carpet. There are two mountaineering entrances on the trail, one is located beside the mountain road, and the starting point of the 0k mountain climbing entrance of Weiliao Mountain. There is a Brugosa Suspension Bridge near the gate of Maolin Scenic Area. It is better to park here, but the journey will be longer.
