★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Wun Chang Temple, AKA Wen Chang Temple, worships God Wen Chang or Lord of the Academy or Civil Service Examination. Thus, the Temple is extremely popular for all types of the exam candidates, such as entrance examination or qualification certificate tests, especially younger students.
In general, younger students would go to the Temple before coming examinations to orally pray for the good test results and/ or to buy a wood pray board and write their pray on the wood board in front of the deities for their wish or hope of the testing targets.
It can be interesting for the visitors of the Temple to read how younger generations write or pray for the wish for the exam.
The Temple is located outside the small open market which is open and operates in AM.
