★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to Din Tai Fung? Well, the chef and owner of this place used to work there and has borrowed heavily from their menu. The food is good and affordable, but the selection is obviously a bit more limited than Din Tai Fung's. Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have the best fried rice and dumplings. It's a very small local kitchen but they have 4 cooks and work at very high speed. Everything there tastes fresh and not oily. I can't think of a single negative thing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know why this place is so popular. The only thing nice is the hot and sour soup, which is packed with flavours and different ingredients. The fried rice is rather bland, and the fried pork chop is just about average. 小樂天餃子館 on Baoqiang Road nearby is definitely a better option for egg fried rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place to enjoy DinTaiFen style and quality food for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend the spicy wonton and the lion head soup or noodle. Fried rice is also very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: Would recommend the Meatball Noodle Soup/獅子頭麵湯. Very flavorful soup with a good-sized meatball.
Good local Taiwanese food. Got the Pork Chop Fried Rice/排骨炒飯, Shrimp Wonton Soup/蝦仁餛飩湯, and Spicy Cold Chicken/麻辣雞. A little pricier than most smaller places but well worth the price.
Also has self serve hot tea and a variety of appetizers.
Will definitely come back in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here it's pretty good, it has DinTaiFen's food quality taste without the heavy price tag.
The restaurant is pretty small, with about 8 tables. So the wait time to dine in is a bit long, we waited about 45 min on a Saturday evening.
It's recommended if you don't want to wait to rather call in advance and place a take it order. We saw many people who came and fetched their order.
Once we were seated, the food came out pretty fast without compromising on the quality of the food.
Must try their fried rice, we saw everyone in the restaurant order the fried rice?
We enjoyed our experience here and would eat here soon again (next time we will call and order, rather than wait outside)
