★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional market - as in very traditional. Not a huge variety of things..but there is fresh produce, cooked food and etc. Very near to famous Long Shan temple - if you need to visit together

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic old-styled market that's worth a visit to reminisce traditional markets of yesteryears, with shopkeepers peddling their wares, fresh produce and poultry and seafood. A lot of them are of the older generation, looking fit as they go about being busy chatting with regular customers or attending to the many duties of running a shop. It's got a lovely old world atmosphere and juxtaposes with the modern and hip coffee place located right next door inside the Shintomicho Cultural Centre.
