YOHO Beach Resort - Hengchun Township

Nice place nice view but room is not really like it...service is good.

Before making the reservation, called the hotel informed them we will bring pets along, they replied, after you’ve made the reservation give us a call and we will arrange close rooms for you. It was sweet after hearing that, however, while checking-in got informed that 2 rooms are in different buildings, which the front desk staff said, that’s how the rooms are, alright then, however he offered room change to same building without informing the bed type which is difficult for elders to get up. We then changed to the same room type as the pets room. Here comes the most annoying part, a pets friendly hotel DOES NOT allow pets to enter any restaurants even in a pet kart, staffs asked us to leave our pet in the room alone? Which is the completely opposite from their pets agreement 5 ‘ do not leave your pet alone in the room.’ Seriously if you cannot offer don’t mention or do not claim that you do. I highly suggest if any travelers are considering to stay in this hotel think twice. Unless you’re traveling with kids, otherwise choose somewhere else, ohh and this hotel tbh is my first and last visit, plus the peanut candy offered from the hotel in room, I do not know whether it’s the date printing issue or it’s actually expired?

I love the beach vibe and warm services from the receptionist. Great beach walk. I’m totally trilled to find a mirage in Pingtung

We spent wonderful Christmas holidays here. One staff named 陳佩蓁 is nice, young, and treats us like family. Children have already expected for next holidays and coming back soon.

**Be aware the hotel offers a reward for 5 star reviews** (a small iced tea at that) Facilities are great. Lots of pools and the spa area is great for when the outdoor pools are too cold. Overall the vibe is very relaxed and if you have kids I’m sure they’ll love it. (There are a LOT of kids) Minus points: * Rooms feel quite old * Breakfast isn’t that great * Amenities like the pool table are showing some age. I would stay again as prices are reasonable. Would have been 3.5 stars rounded to 4 but the attempt to buy 5 star reviews put it down a star.

Large complex and water park for kids. Spa is nice. The ticket can be free if given a 5-star rating.

Food is quite good here, particularly the evening buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some of our party were moved 4 times due to faulty a/c, naphthalene smell, and distance from us, but hotel compensated us for this. My biggest complaint is about the safety of the water slide. Firstly there should be more than once life guard on duty. He was not able to monitor both the pool and the slide effectively. The traffic light letting you know when safe to slide does not wait for the last person to have but the water but will turn green when they're a third of the way down. This isn't enough time for the person before to clear the area before someone new comes down. I saw a girl hit by another rider as well as people hanging around the landing area when they should have been told to move by the life guard. They were eventually told, but only after an incident had occurred.
