Always gives you an excellent meal for a very reasonable price. Strongly recommend it - especially for the Westerner who wants to try some Asian food but isn't very adventurous

Food was excellent for the price. The staff were lovely and even had a special menu on English so I could order my food with confidence.

Delicious food and reasonable price

I came today late at night to use a coupon. It was quite busy for only one staff at the front. Due to the location of this store, there are a lot of foreigners dining here, and this one boy tried his best to serve in English. He might sound a bit rude by only saying one vocabulary every sentence. But if you speak mandarin, he was just a nice person. I would give hive 5 stars for efforts, but then I saw a gigantic cockroach sprinting near the entrance so there go one star.

When my family visited this place in August, they had only the menu which is written in Chinese. Workers don't speak English so, it was a bit difficult to order some food... It would be nice if the restaurant has not only Chinese menu but also Japanese and English menu. If they can serve utensils(spoon and fork)to little kids and foreigner, that would be very helpful also! This place is located 2mins away from Taipei main station and it is really convenient and yummy! :-)

I loved the rice bowl with egg, but unfortunately the edamame and chawanmushi were pretty salty... we chose a set, which came with the chawanmushi and allowed you to choose one out of 3 options for the drink/soup (miso soup, hot black tea or cold lemon tea, and one out of 3 items for the side (edamame, kimchi or pickled cabbage)

IG: FOODIE_FOXX The 24 hour Japanese restaurant which is just behind the Taipei main station, yoshinoya is a famous franchise which is well known for their fast service and healthy food, they have very limited options which makes it easier for us to choose ?, specially at the late night like 12 or 1 am. We ordered the beef slices with 62' egg and with extra meat (40$) The combo also covers options like red tea, green tea or miso soup (choose 1) and spicy kimichi and salty beans (choose 1). The prices are okay, with extra meat we ended up paying 240 ish, but for Japanese good I think it's a decent deal, mainly being 24 hours ? it's very convenient. They have a very big place on the 2nd floor for dine in, they also have these extra condiments- red raddish and chilli flakes, which would be a delight for your taste buds with the meal.
