★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the vibe of YU chocolatier, it really transport you to the heart of Paris. The cakes are beautifully crafted and the flavors are very French. I had the hot chocolate with brandy and it was smooth and not too sweet. When the drink cooled there was a layer of chocolate floating on top, which goes to show the quality and use of solid chocolate in their hot chocolate drinks vs cocoa powder. This is a perfect little spot for an extravagant chocolate fix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much seats available so we ordered takeaway, the staff is very friendly. Cakes are separately packed in square box with ice pack underneath and can last around an hour.
The passion fruit chocolate cake (百香) is amazing, probably one of best I have ever had with a strong taste of passion fruit and Brandy.
Will definitely visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a must when visiting Taipei, their cakes are elegant and of high quality as are their chocolates. The the chocolate whisky cake made with the Smokey peat of the Lagavulan 16 @yu_chocolatier was out of this world enjoyed with a dram of Omar sherry cask Taiwanese whisky. Yu also make high quality chocolates including award winning pieces made with renowned Taiwanese whisky Kavalan Soloist Sherry cask, a chocolate made with Talisker Scotch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious pastries done with finesse and much attention to details. Mille feuille was crispy and well layered, chocolate mousse was creamy, airy and taste very good. Kumquat white chocolate dessert was very well balanced, white chocolate glaze was nice and thin and well tempered.
Unfortunately no coffee is served but the hot chocolate stands out with the quality of chocolate they use.
Cafe was very nicely decorated and comfortable.
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu.
Reservations taken and credit cards accepted

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sort of a hole in the wall place behind the RenAi circle/roundabout, it’s opened for 4+years and has attracted some hardcore fans!
The chocolates are absolutely delicious and the desserts are done with perfection. They also offer whisky pairing and some made-to-order desserts. FOODIES MUST TRY!
