★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiancé and I were a day too early for the lantern festival when we came, but the magic of this place was still very much there. Thanks to the organizers who had lit up a few small floats to share what's yet to come, It does get a bit crowded in some areas but that's alright since it gives everyone a chance to take it all in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there during 2019 lantern festival, the riverside is amazingly decorated. The river is well-preserved, with no odor.
The riverside park is at the outskirts of the district. It takes about 20min driving from Xinying station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was mesmerizing! All the art displays were beautiful & had story. I took 3-4 hours to finish all the are. Really enjoyed the time there. This is the best lantern festival in Tainan. Moreover, it was FREE! ❤️
