A	Andrew Glovasa (Drew) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went hiking here. The views were spectacular. The trails were well established and not that crowded. Before hiking, please check the permits needed on the Yushan National Park website.
C	Coach Kaali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highest Peak in Taiwan! If you're a hiker, come here. But becareful with your steps cuz most of the trail can be dangerous. Anyway, this mountain offers walk-in permit but you have to go day pack. Means, you are not be able to stay at Paiyun Lodge before summit attack.

Yu Shan or Yushan, also known as Mount Yu and by other names, is the highest mountain on Taiwan Island at 3,952 m (12,966 ft) above sea level, giving Taiwan the 4th-highest maximum elevation of any island in the world. It is the highest point in the western Pacific region outside of the Kamchatka Peninsula. Yushan and surrounding mountains belong to Yushan Range.
L	Lukáš Vondra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hike to the highest mountain of Taiwan and the whole Western Pacific region. It took us 14 hours in total both ways during the one day trip but we had lots of stops and the weather was changing a lot as well, in better conditions you can do it under 12 hours I guess. Good hiking shoes recommended, the track is quite long for one day but totally doable if you are a bit fit. Only last 500 m is technical otherwise standard hiking trail.

B	Brendan Scott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well worth the hike. Especially making it up top to the peak. The views from the trail are beautiful all along the hike! Of course the views from the top are some of the most magnificent. The lodge stay is okay, good for its circumstances. But don’t expect much from it. There is all sorts of beautiful scenes that I would love to come back during different times and do more than just the summit hike. Beautiful!
M	Martin Marc-Olivier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top summit of Taiwan, no need to add anything more !. Yushan climb is really great, from start to finish. Many climbers consider that booking the entrance in the park is a bottleneck, but if you do not book one night at Paiyun lodge and do the climb in one day, it's easier to get the permit. That "one day climb" is for sure, a long day (like 26 km trail, with 1400 altitude elevation), but it's really doable for any trained hiker (and good weather conditions !).
