★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The taste of the food is generally pretty good. The peiking duck was tasty and crispy. And the steam veggie dumplings are yummy. The only thing is the price. That was really a shocker. It is really pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We couldn't get roasted ducks so the review is for other dishes. Overall the food is just okay, a little below the average in my opinion. The steamed dumplings and green onion pancakes are both pretty mediocre. The service was slow, they didn't have enough people to take care of every table so it took 15 minutes to get someone to get a couple of to go boxes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is just OK. If you want Beijing flavours - then this will be fine if you're in the area and are really hungry (and so can't make it anywhere else). The staff appear to speak no English, and the menus (pictures attached) are only in Chinese.
The restaurant itself almost transports you to the mainland (the decoration and even the clothes the waitresses wear). The food is fine but not superb (I noticed that many westerners give the place high ratings, but having lived in Beijing for quite a while, I can only give this place three stars). Most of the clients seemed to be locals. Prices are strange - some things out expect to be cheap and really expensive and vice versa. A meal for two came to 900ntd (quite expensive for what you get, considering what else is around).
The guotie 锅贴 (fried dumplings) were good, as was the huiguorou 回锅肉. Other things so so.
