Great place with interesting Chinese style. Usually crowded during weekends, must reserve tables if you want to have meals there. Now is the fireflies season, there are plenty of them in this area, but there’s also lots of visitors. Better visit on weekdays. Also, the light pollution is obvious so not suitable for taking photos.

Love this resort. Very relaxing vibes here. A little hard to get to, and the taxi drivers at San Yi station typically ask for 200 NTD to drive you there (our driver turned on meter anyway and it hit 180 NTD at the destination). The resort looks like a rustic Chinese village, 古色古香. The attached restaurant has a paying special vegetarian hotpot dinner which you could reserve from the front desk. We tried it and it's really good. The highlight of this resort is their Indigo-dyeing experience. Fun, definitely a must try! They charge based on the article that you want to dye (tote bag, drawstring bag, etc). A little pricey but that is expected of holiday resorts. If you get bored there, you can venture out to explore San Yi town via taxi (book from front desk). Really nice place to spend a 2 to 3 days relaxing. Definitely will come back again when Covid blows over.
