Lo-mei is slightly spicy but not too salty, and the price is not expensive. For me who loves lo-mei, it is the first choice in my pocket list!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「滷味」という八角など数種類の香辛料と醤油で煮込んだ台湾珍味。鷄脚(爪)や鴨舌は見た目グロテスクですがビールの肴に最高です。
Taiwanese delicacy boiled with several kinds of spices and soy sauce such as octagon called “bushimi”. Chicken legs (claws) and duck tongues are grotesque, but they are the best beer appetizers.

Be careful when buying Chinese cookies and cakes. Some are about to be expired but on the same shelf with regular items. The shop clerks will not mention it so you must ask them to check the expiration date one by one.
