★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good, but service is mediocre at best. Other than showing you to your seat while saying nothing, the servers do absolutely nothing. They don't even say the names of the dishes when served and they don't greet you at all, just radio silent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An excellent local canteen-style restaurant with traditional Taiwanese food selection. I go almost every week. As many other reviewers, I have to mention the sesame sauce noodles (I always choose the one with smoked chicken and it is delicious). All other dishes are good too, there is plenty of choice. They also have a good selection of small plates. If you look foreign, they offer an English menu too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Next to Sherwood Hotel. Great Taiwanese noodle shop. Signature product is the noodle with secret sesame sauce. Beef is very high quality and delicious. Large portion. A hiddden gem. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice, clean, comfy decor, especially for a simple noodles restaurant. However, not sure about the dark lighting, it is not a cafe?. I would prefer a bright amphasphere. The appetizers were pretty good, light tasting, not too salty or greasy， at $35 /plate, ok! The noodles were al dente, lightly sauced, wontons had very thin skins and tasted pretty good. Soup also had good flavor. Plating of my noodles dish was good, not messy like many other smaller restaurants. So, prices are just a bit higher, still good CP!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i came and dined in for lunch today. despite the restaurant being quite crowded, the waiters were all very attentive and i was served quite quickly! i ordered the 燻雞麻醬乾拌麵 and loved it. i thought the flavors were expertly layered, and the noodles were perfectly QQ. my only criticism is that it was quite oily.
overall, this was a great lunch experience, and i will definitely be back!
