I haven't been to Chengjia Xiaoguan for ten years. Today, I saw Ban Niang introducing Crabs on TV. I especially came to eat. I was a bit disappointed. The charcoal fire has become an induction cooker, the soup base is lighter, less crabs, and the price is much higher

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Simple but delicious. The chef uses different features from different cuisine for his dishes. From Cantonese cuisine to Sichuan to SE Asian. A single restaurant can serve various features. I have to say the chef has his talents in culinary but loses the focus in one particular cuisine. Pickled bakchoi hotpot is highly recommend. Also the chef has a magic touch with beef. We visited this restaurant in two consecutive days. Definitely going back for more.
