★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burmese-Chinese opened spot. But tastes pretty good. For the best 'lunch-deal' get the all in one. Usually around ~150 NT for a decent sized meal. The Gapao chicken is pretty decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When they served the food I ordered it came with a filthy spoon. I asked the waitress to give me a new, clean one, only to see her go to the sink, wash it casually, and hand me the exact same spoon, which not only was still dirty but now, came with some scrap of tissue paper she used to wipe it dry. I mean, I don’t believe a restaurant with this standard of hygiene can serve any food that is clean. You may say I’m overgeneralizing but it’s actually not just the utensils — everything is dirty inside. There was a layer of grime on the wall I sat by.

Location: Located in Shida night market. Can be reached by bus or MRT.
Parking: Large toll parking space in Normal University. However, it’s a bit expensive - 50 TWD per hour.
Food: It’s a Yunnan cuisine. Tasty but a bit strong in spicy and sour flavor. You’ll love here if you like Thai food. Most amazingly, the food quality remains unchanged since my first visit 10 years ago.
Service: Nice and friendly.
Payment: Cash only.
A recommended local restaurant if you come visit Shida night market for the first time.
