★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 由山中湖進入天上山縱走，右往五城山，天山山，左行即可先到文筆山，續行可達圓通寺，南勢角山。
 Enter Tianshang Mountain from Yamanaka Lake and walk right to Wucheng Mountain and Tianshan Mountain. Go left to reach Wenbi Mountain first, and then continue to Yuantong Temple and Nanshijiao Mountain.

文筆山頂視野極佳，可鳥瞰整個台北盆地，林口台地、觀音山、淡水河口，天氣好時皆清晰可見。
天上山縱走，這天從文筆山左行到彩蝶別墅社區後門(不開放外人進入)，沿途下坡路段頗多，落葉、碎石不少，多處需要繩索輔助，對登山肉腳級的我們來說，頗具挑戰性，沿途林相豐富，蚊蟲也不少。

The top of Wenbi Mountain has an excellent view, with a bird's eye view of the entire Taipei Basin, the Linkou Mesa, Guanyin Mountain, and Danshui Estuary, all of which are clearly visible in good weather.
Walking along the sky, walking left from Wenbi Mountain to the back door of Caidie Villa Community (not open to outsiders). There are many downhill sections along the way, with a lot of fallen leaves and gravel. Many places need rope assistance. For us, it was quite challenging. There were plenty of forests along the way, and there were also many mosquitoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view over New Taipei/Taipei in a spot tucked into the hills. It requires a bit of effort to get there, but on the flip side there isn't much traffic of people and it is quite peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hiking trails in the mountain. You can sing Karaoke at a pond on top of the mountain if you're so inclined. On a clear day you can see all the way from Danshui to JhongLi from the viewpoint.

You may encounter or hear bunch of birds, insects and squirrels. Leave the bustling stressful city behind and just enjoy the harmony and magnificent view on your way.
Sometimes one need to be careful as some spots are slippery or tough to conquer. I ended up at the cemetery near the animal shelter from where it's 20 minutes to the next bus stop to MRT Yellow line

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A mountain with elevation of 375 m. An awesome view at the peak. One can see the New Taipei City, the Taipei City, and even part of Taoyuan City. There is a high voltage transmission tower and funnily an electrical cage beside. If you would like to visit here, please be careful that a lot of mosquitoes. Long shirt and log pants are recommended. Have you a nice activity and good day as you voting here.
