★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, authentic and simple! I love the lotus root soup especially. There are a few locations all around Hsinchu but I've only been to this one. Very good business, but people usually come here for a quick bite so it's not hard to find a table. Very very affordable :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plain and simple food. BUT they are SO good. An annex under a shabby roof. No decoration at all. The pork rice is crispy with adequate pork chops on top. The soups come in 8 choices, after long hour stewing. The ribs or the drum sticks are almost tasteless, with all the aroma spewed out to the soup. Its tofu is my favorite. Firm not to rubbery, with gravy being soaked in smoothly. Most of all, the price is unbelievably low. Must have.
