a very famous beef noodle store in Chung Yuan night market, Zhongli. price is acceptable. if u like spicy, order the red colour soup noodle, while the white colour is non spicy. however, red soup is more tasty and prefered by most costumer.

The noodle is very plain with no tastes, about average level. They soup is okay and they offer free refill.

Chinese to English menu translation below. I wouldn't say I'm an expert in beef noodles, but this is definitely the best beef noodles I had amoung serval other famous ones I tried. The black bowl one is the TWD 220 one (first one on the left side on the menu). It contains beef belly meat, beef "stomach", and beef tendon, they all contribute in flavouring the soup, I can't think of a word to describe the pleasantness of it. The white bowl one is normal beef soup noodle with relatively thinner noodles, it costs only TWD 60 but don't have any beef. I am not sure if they have a English menu or not, here's some basic translations of their meaning to get you going: "湯": soup only "湯麵": noodles with soup "牛肉": beef "羊肉": lamb "招牌": symbolic (basically what they recommend) "紅燒": spicy "清燉": clear soup (not spicy) "細粉": thin noodles "泡菜": kimchi "蕃茄": tomato Notes: the "招牌" one includes beef belly ("stomach" and meat) and beef tendon, also they give you two cups of free juice
