★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A rip off. Rented gear for the day. Dove with them and wanted to go snorkel after we were done diving and was not allowed to use the equipment that we rented for the day. This was not disclosed before we rented it. They should have only charged us for a half day if we couldn't use the equipment we rented for a whole day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best, most environmentally aware dive shop on XLQ. They have an excellent dive boat and several good local guides, who also speak English. They do not permit fish collecting, fish feeding or spearfishng which some of the other dive shops on XLQ encourage. The shop also has various types of accommodation upstairs and can also locate and book gest houses for you if they are fully booked. EANx 32 is available. My only negative about this shop is that it is small and gets crowded if there are 10 divers in there. It is a 5 min walk from the ferry exit just walk to the left and then go up the stairs on your right. The shop is on the right in front of you. They are also 25m walk from the scooter rental shops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've now had two fun dives with Angus and I'm very happy with the service. He is kind and patient and happy to be led by what you want. The first dive he pointed out a lot of interesting things and is happy to assist me on my first fun dive since completing my Padi. On the second trip I brought a friend and we want to take photos and experiment with the gopro. He's totally relaxed about this. He also speaks great English and is clearly very experienced. Thanks for your help

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience. I walked in without a reservation and the staff were very accommodating. I also dove in Okinawa through a resort and I felt that the level of expertise was just as high here. The coral was more dead than I expected, mostly black sea urchins and we stayed fairly close to the shore. However, there were several sea turtles (I think I saw three total) and some other fish and aquatic life. The turtles seem very comfortable with the divers and enjoy swimming above them to feel the bubbles.

Highly recommend to all, who try diving for the first time!
And the best, we saw 5 wonderful turtles... :))
