★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 開化寺是彰化的第一座寺廟，又名「觀音亭」，建於清雍正2年（西元1724年），主祀觀世音菩薩，其他還奉祀三官大帝、地藏王菩薩、註生娘娘，還有第一次看到的痘公與痘婆，聽說是醫美的神明喔！
開化寺為二進二院的建築格局，分別為山門、正殿、後殿。山門前有一對石獅，造型古樸，方形石柱上有陰刻文字，是開化寺建築特色之一，三通五瓜式的廟宇建築與精美彩繪非常美麗，拜殿懸掛清同治10年(西元1871年)「現大慈悲」古匾，還有乾隆59年(西元1794年)「寶殿圓通」與清光緒10年「慈航普渡」、清同治5年「眾母自在」與道光年間「慈心保赤」等古匾。
 Kaihua Temple is the first temple in Changhua. It is also known as "Guanyin Pavilion". It was built in the 2nd year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1724). It is dedicated to the Guanshiyin Bodhisattva. And the first time I saw acne males and acne women, I heard that they are the gods of medical beauty!
Kaihua Temple is the architectural layout of the second courtyard and the second courtyard, which are the mountain gate, the main hall, and the apse. There is a pair of stone lions in front of the mountain gate. The shape is simple and the square stone pillars have inscribed characters. It is one of the architectural features of Kaihua Temple. The three links and five melon style temple buildings and exquisite paintings are very beautiful. The worship hall was hung in the 10th year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1871) The ancient plaque "Present Great Compassion", and "Baodian Yuantong" in the 59th year of Qianlong (1794 AD) and "Cihang Pudu" in the 10th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty; "Bao Chi" and other ancient plaques.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably one of old Temples in Changhua City. People say that if you want to pass an exam or test for example a lawyer or doctor or a government civil service exam, you can bring your ID card here and take the special pen back home and then you pray for the success before you leave. If you guy work hard enough and have great confidence, you would probably pass the exam.
