Kenting National Park Visitor Center - Hengchun Township

The furnishings of the exhibition booths seem to have not been updated for some time; many exhibits feel obsolete, and the installations that interact with visitors are also broken~ There is a wooden terrace outside, and the scenery is very beautiful. I feel that I can see it in the afternoon and evening, maybe it will be more beautiful~ ————————————————— The old name of "Kenting" is "Kenting Liao", which originated from the official establishment of the Reclamation Bureau in the third year of Guangxu during the Qing period (1877). "Hengchun County Chronicles" also recorded that Kenting Village was a "Hakka and Aboriginal mixed residence" village; there is also a saying that it was reclaimed during the Tongzhi period[3]. The former settlement site was originally at the foothills of Dajianshi Mountain. It was originally just a small place name. Today, it generally refers to the Kenting Road Night Market (still under Dajianshi Mountain), which is administratively affiliated to Kenting Lane, Hengchun Township, Pingtung County. Since it later became the name of a national park, it often refers to the entire Hengchun Peninsula area.

The visitor center of Kenting National Forest Recreation Area has clean windows and beautiful layout. In addition to the introduction to the Kenting National Forest Recreation Area, there are also catering and beverage vending machines and water dispensers. The service staff are polite.
