This place brings shame upon Mexico. Did they purposely hire the stupidest and rudest people possible for the position?

Staff rejected significant amount of applicants and claimed their workload is overwhelmed? It's ridiculous.

If you prepare all the right documents, it actually just took you 10 minutes to go through the whole process. The only downside is they don't let people sit while waiting outside.

Service and attitude are the worst, I have never been treated like this before. I was there to apply for a visa I am not a criminal so please it's easier to be nice than mean I kid you not. I have all my documents and I o my have one question and it's even my time at the window. She shut me up and told me not to speak at all. How come they don't care about customer service. It's not like you are superior than others just because you work at an embassy. Grow up. Ya I guess I complain so much I need to grow up too but come on unbelievable.

The service is very slow and the information they provide online is not accurate. I waited 1.5 hours just to hear that the copy needs to be exactly as my document. One double side document cannot be copied into 2 pages, they dont have a copy machine so I just lost all my morning for nothing. They are rude and zero open to listening, sloooooow and just a very very bad experience.

Watch out the mean lady at counter number 3, she is the reason I will skip Mexico for my big America trip! honestly she gives everyone a hard time when we apply for the visa and she gave me a very bad first impression about Mexico already!! I think she can be nicer to people who want to spend the money and effort to visit this country, she doesn’t have to be this way actually. My mother is 70 years old, she chased my mother to stand outside for 3 hours when there are plenty of seats inside, very cruel inconsiderate act of her. I counted the time she deals with each person, averagely she spends 30-40 minute for one applicant, I’ve never seen this kind of LOW EFFICIENCY in Taiwan, no wonder they can only handles 30 visa applications a day! Besides, this place asked for absolute quietness like a library, there’s no place for waiting so every one just sit on the floor during waiting. Also there’s no privacy, I could hear everything they ask the applicant Including their personal information!! I know I wouldn’t be comfortable to let every stranger to hear my personal things. I remember thinking The Whole time: since they spent 20-30 min for an applicant, why don’t they make 2 chambers for interviewing the applicants? This way, not only they don’t have to worry the noise of the waiting crowd, but the applicant can also feel comfortable sharing their persona to the officers! The atmosphere is by far the worst government office I have ever been! There was no service at all , let alone giving us any water even when we are all so thirsty from the nervousness and pressure the mean lady gives us!!

I went there a few years ago and it was a horrible experience. The lady at the counter was very rude and rough. Not only that she did not give me proper reason/explanation what's wrong, she also refused to return my documents. Stating "once these paper passed through the counter, they belong to the Mexican government". What a lousy excuse?! It seems not much has been improved. Good luck. If you can use US visa to go to Mexico, don't bother to come here.
